Where to Stay in Nanjangud
There are many places to stay in Nanjangud. It ranges from the Economical Accommodation services offered by Temple to good Lodges and Hotels. None of the hotels or lodges in Nanjangud have online reservation facility and there are no Star Hotels in Nanjangud at present.
Since Nanjangud is about 24km from Mysore and frequent bus services, some people prefer to stay in Mysore instead of Nanjangud according to their convinience.
Accommodation within Nanjangud:
- Yathri Dormitories of Srikanteshwara Temple.
- Girijakalyana Mantap.
- Many Hotels and Lodges which provide accommodation facilities.
You can easily get accommodation after visiting Nanjangud except on special days. There are many choultries (dharmashalas), hotels and lodges within 1 km of the temple. The list of these facilities with address and phone numbers will be made available soon.
Its better to reserve the accommodation in advance (by visiting in person) if planning to visit Nanjangud during special and festival days as there will be too much crowd in the town.
